The elderly mother of late Ibrahim Abdulaziz, the Voice of America (VOA) reporter covering Adamawa and Taraba States, Hajja Habiba Muhammad Tukur is dead.
The late elderly woman was bedridden for long following health challenges that incapacitated her abilities to walk.
Disclosing the sad news to our reporter, Malam Mahmud Haruna an uncle to Late Abdulaziz said, the elderly woman died in the early hours of Saturday at her family home in Mayo Belwa town.
“She has suffered serious health complications which incapacitated her to the extent of not being able to walk for four years,” Haruna said.
He said she will be buried according to Islamic rights at 10:00am in Mayo Belwa town.
