The Senator representing Adamawa Northern zone, Mr Ishaku Abbo (Cliff) has condemned the way and manner that the All Progressives Congress was conducted in Mubi North and Mubi South.
Abbo who was worried over what he described lack of interest of the APC party by some party stakeholders is killing the party in Adamawa state.
Ishaku over the party’s local government Congress have fingered Honourable Jafar Magaji who is mortally afraid of elections Member representing Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha using the name of Modi Halilu, a younger brother to the wife of President Mohammadu Buhari to write the results of Mubi South, Mubi North LG congress in the comfort of the house of Hon. Yusuf Buba In Yola.
According to him the interference of Modi and Mustapha Salihu in the affairs of the politics in Northern zone is designed to destroy APC in the Zone ahead of 2023.
He alleged that IDPs were piled in an unofficially venue Yelwa Primary school and were given one thousand naira each to line up for the concocted media coverage as counting went on delegates.
He said the process was stage manage because INEC and security agencies not there, but were all waiting at Yadzaram Cinema Mubi.
He said the process has undermined internally Democracy of the party and it will not go well with the party in 2023 if such immoral trend is not reversed.
Ishaku also said that the former national vice chairman of the party from North East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu is Modi’s ally who help Jafar in perfecting the unacceptable LG party’s elections.
He vowed to challenge the whole party activities that took place in Mubi in court and assured that justice will be done to the delegates in order to avoid the Zamfara Scenario where wrong delegates were used for primary elections without the supervision of INEC.
” I will fight this in court, we do not want what happened in Zamfara will end up repeating itself in Adamawa, and APC will lose the entire election.” Abbo stated.
He called on the Senate President, the National Chairman of APC to end impunity so as to present APC as one United party to Nigerians on 2023.
Jafar when contacted by our reporter said Abbo’s allegations cannot be substantiated , and it’s unfortunate that is dragging his name over a baseless story against him.
He maintained that he is not an official of APC from state or national, all what has happened in Mubi was an instruction carried out by the orders of the party officials.
He bluntly denied using IDPs as part of the election of the area, Modi and Mustapha are innocent of his imaginary thoughts.
