Mubi South Lawmaker appeals judgment as tribunal nullified his election in Adamawa

The member representing Mubi South constituency in the Adamawa state house of Assembly,Hon Musa Bororo appealed against the judgment of the Election Tribunal sitting in Yola.

The presiding Judge,Justice S Akambi nullified the election of Musa Umar for bearing inconsistence three names.

The Tribunal nullified Musa’s election who was elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) on ground that he is using three names,Musa Umar Bororo instead of “Musa Umar” which is official name in the documented submitted to INEC.

Musa who is widely known as Bororo has since appealed against today’s ruling by the tribunal, attesting that his documents are all official including the “Bororo” his third name having afidavit backing thereby making it his official name.

He said the verdict surprise him by the fact that his name is never controversial and his official identity is what the court could held on to nullified his election.

According to him is confident to have a good and favourable judgment at the tribunal.

He enjoins his supporters and APC family in Mubi north to remain resolute that the appeal court will certainly upturn the judgement.
