Much encomiums on HRM Mrs Okonkwo as she marks her golden year in UK

It was a gathering of who is who in Nollywood industry and administrators in London when Queen of the Red Carpet, a Nollywood actress, author, publisher and entrepreneur, HRM Florence Okonkwo step out in style to celebrate her golden age of 50 in London.

Okonkwo popularly known as Queen of Red Carpet also used the opportunity to launch her book; ‘The Woman Celine Ajayi Smith’ as well as the sixth edition of her 3D international magazine, Elegant Flix.

A minute silence was held for Chris Oboka, a criminal lawyer in the UK and author of the book; ‘The Aso Rock Lawyer.’ He edited Okonkwo’s book.”

One of the high point of the occasion was the award of scholarship to sponsor secondary school education of Miss Njideka Udeh, an indigent orphan from Akwuke Kingdom in Enugu state through Florence Okonkwo Elegant flix 3HD UK based magazine.

The Queen also supported the Taiwo Ajisefinni Foundation with food.

To mark the auspicious occasion, some high dignitaries within and outside the government circle attended the occasion.

Among those that graced the birthday/ book lunch includes veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, HRH Togbe Adza, HRH Okeosisi Ndi Igbo, and HRM, Dr. Charles Onwuneme flew all the way from Nigeria to honour Okonkwo.

Other dignitaries of repute who graced the event were the Mayor of Greenwich, and others namely: Agungwu Isingwu, Aju Vu Ohuhu, Ahia Umuahia and TPM Gburugburu.
