True to the words of the writer of all times, Alhaji Munsur Toungo is a Man who has a date with history. His astronomical rise to greatness is an eloquent testimony of God’s amazing grace and purpose. This Man became a podium of political good will and governance in Adamawa state since the return of democracy in 1999. Prior to 1999 political activities, Toungo has been a strong pillar to people who see politics as way of service to God and humanity. He uses his resources, political will in sponsoring visionary leaders in the place of authority in a mission to give quality service to humanity.
Toungo in his perception of leadership,he consider it a tasking and much is demanding from those God willed the virteous in them. Leadership can be very enslaving,the fame and popularity that come along with it may take away your sleep and freedom. Munsur see it a privilege to serve humanity under the gift of given up himself and what he has for the people of Adamawa state.
He availed himself for God to use him to give his talent of leadership to people of all races and places,on receiving the support by the invincible hand of God not to break away from given the right services, haven the full wisdom, Grace and knowledge to conduct himself to meet the expection of the people,he grow to see people as the best reason for leaders to be leaders. Without people there can never be leaders or anything call democracy or act of leaderstyle.
He positioned himself in the place of servant not for the purpose of occupying political office or elective position, a stakeholders that sees beyond himself but people around him. He has never embordern himself with Leadership quest for the purpose of occupying a position.
From whatever perspective,God or Man leadership is synonymous to servitude, it is servitude because a Leader is expected to be under God’s absolute control and the people who gave them the mandate to serve.
Alhaji Munsur Toungo is a Man that’s said of him has much of leadership abilities. According to one Mallam Idi Salau who say that any government that will succeed in Adamawa state must involve Alhaji Munsur Toungo, most especially if the person need a blog votes of Toungo,Ganye and Jada LGAs. All because he has extended political roots of planting people in leadership position in the 21 LGAs of the State.
Salau further revealed that former Governor Mr Boni Haruna, Admiral Murtala Nyako,Bala Ngira and Umaru Fintiri have adjudged Munsur to be a man with high level of integrity, an attitude that nurtured him to political lime light,building his life on trust as a strong political stalwart in the state.
Integrity it is what a political leaders should have, Toungo remain high with moral standards. Morality is about being right or doing the right thing. This is no doubt in the attitude of Alhaji Munsur. Alwaye being reasonable and strong believe in justice, equality, egalitarianism, discipline and strong hatred for what is wrong.
No matter what it is or happens,Munsur is a legendary leader whose continues to look forward for better days of leadership. Toungo view democracy as a political leadership as the head leadership of society.
In the generality of Alhaji Munsur Toungo’s life style is a leadership of leaders. The man Toungo It is like the head of a human being; if the head fails, the body rots away that’s how many presumed Toungo’s kind in Adamawa state.
Like the Young eaglet, which has a steady focus (vision) to soar high to bigger horizon in order to see clearly the prey she want for food. Toungo as a portential first class material in the school of politics once hired by Olusegun Obasanjo to expound Adamawa state politics in 2003 when he was a member of PDP.
The Man Munsur as a Farmer in Toungo the Farthest LGA which shares international boundary with Northern Cameroon was rated as an international philanthropist who shares food and pay school fees of Students in million of Naira to Many Adamawa infigenes and extended communities of Cameroon.
When the 2015 wind of change blew, it came with a radical change of new innovation that PDP ruling party were automatically replaced by All Progressives Congress (APC) from bottom to the top of all tiers and phases of government especially in Northern Nigeria. Toungo as a shrewd politician on his decamped to APC with all his thousands followers and worked the Bindow’s agenda of becoming a Governor.
Toungo is truly a legend leader, in him is the leadership abilities of Love and selfless service to humanity. With his nature and character of helping young politicians from all works of life an indication of his undying selfless service to humanity.
Toungo is now the main arrow head Man who is working hard to bring back Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for the second term as a Governor of the state. Many believe he has no threats of failure in him in whoever he wants to support as a political leader.
He remain a pivot wheel of government and the act of governance in the State with a people’s oriented politics in the inside of him
