An All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholder from Adamawa State, Alhaji Ahmed Lawan said the Va-Voom attitudes of the Senator Representing Adamawa North, Abbo Ishaku and the erstwhile Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Engr Babachir David Lawan over the Muslim Muslim of the party is nothing order than politics encapsulated in their interests.
Ahmed who was the State organizing Secretary of the APC called on people especially party loyalists to look at their expression of views as normal in politics and people should not attach meaning to it.
According to him both David and Ishaku are never enemies of the party nor are they enemies of the Islamic religion.
He is confident that the duo will certainly work for Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential flag bearer in the coming 2023.
He said Babachir is a close ally of Tinubu who has shown his open support for him against all odds and he can not back step his loyalty to the party talk more of leaving his friend of over two decades to wallow in failure of defeat.
He admitted that anybody can react the same way they are reacting if the Muslim Muslim ticket decided by Tinubu is the other way round.
“Both Babachir and Abbo are defending the interest of so many people, if they are in the party and cannot voice out in defense of what is the interest of their supporters or the majority of the people they are representing or those that are looking up to them, then something is fundamentally wrong somewhere else with their political lifestyle.
” Babachir has APC blood running through his veins, a loyal party founding member whose loyalty is in check and is nonnegotiable, I have this belief that is playing his kind of politics to avert the dooming dangers looming ahead for the party.
“All my prayers for the Babachir and Abbo are to look at all issues beyond personal interest and work for the interest of the party in the coming elections,” Ahmed said
