The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow revealed that his two commissioners under the Services of Adamawa state government who have resigned recently did that on personal ground.
According to him their resignation is never in connection of any misunderstanding or is having political undertone.
He described the two resigned commissioners,Hon Yayaji Mijinyawa who was overseeing the ministry of land and survey,Hon Umar Daware incharge of Commerce and industry ministry as his Younger Brothers who have been loyal to him and to his government.
Governor Jibrilla disclosed this during the swearing-in ceremony of the two new commissioners who replaced the vacant posts created by Yayaji and Daware at the Banquet Hall of the government house in yola.
“Their resignation paved way for their replacement that was personal.” Bindow Said
He enjoined the newly sworn in commissioners, whom he described as men of integrity, to be part of the team to move the state forward.
He said his administration runs an open door policy and is people oriented adding that in the last few years a lot have been achieved in critical areas including building of roads, renovation and equipping of hospitals as well as schools.
In a remark, Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajo, who welcomed the newly sworn in commissioners, urged them to join the team of commissioners to compliment the transformation process of the present administration.
He however pointed out that one project that is before the administration is to ensure the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla in twenty nineteen general election.
While urging the youths to obtain their Personal Voters Card, Comrade Sajo disclosed that the present administration have packaged a welfare programs that will improve on the lot of youths and women.
Responding on behalf of the two sworn in Commissioners, Alhaji Bello Iliyasu, who has been deployed to the ministry of Land and Survey, appreciated the opportunity given to them and assured that they are aware of the task ahead of them.
Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bala Sanga, administered the oath of office.
Meanwhile Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla has announced the immediate deployment of the two commissioners.
Alhaji Usman Hamman Tukur Daware is deployed to Ministry of Commerce while Alhaji Bello Iliyasu will serve as commissioner of Land and Survey.
