Nigeria’s 2025 budget has allocated a total of N1.37 trillion for statutory transfers, with the North East Development Commission (NEDC) receiving a significant allocation of N290.99 billion. This funding is expected to support the commission’s efforts to rebuild and develop the North East region, which has been affected by insurgency and other challenges.
