In a stunning revelation at a roundtable meeting on governance and accountability held in Port-Harcourt, Rt. Hon. Zakariya Dauda Nyampa, a dedicated representative of Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives, has declared that the economic impact of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s infrastructure investments in Adamawa State is valued at an astounding 30 trillion naira.

Speaking after delivering a lecture on navigating governance in a hostile society, Nyampa praised the governor’s visionary leadership, asserting that the transformative projects initiated since 2019 have set the state on a trajectory to outpace many others in Nigeria.
According to Nyampa, the Fintiri administration has invested 500 billion naira in infrastructure since the governor assumed office in 2019.
This is not just about roads and bridges. It’s about the economic ecosystem Governor Fintiri has built—a legacy that will benefit generations
However, factoring in inflation and the long-term economic multiplier effects, he estimates this investment has generated a future nominal value of 30 trillion naira—an impact that could sustain the state’s growth until 2039, even if no further projects were undertaken.
“This is not just about roads and bridges,” Nyampa emphasized. “It’s about the economic ecosystem Governor Fintiri has built—a legacy that will benefit generations.”
The roundtable, attended by policymakers, academics, and civil society leaders, provided a platform for Nyampa to highlight how Fintiri’s policies transcend traditional politics.
“His expertise touches every facet of life—health, education, and economic empowerment. The Adamawa people are happy, and the governor himself is contented with the progress,” he said.
Residents of Adamawa have indeed expressed widespread satisfaction with the administration’s achievements. From modernized urban centers to rural connectivity projects, the state has witnessed unprecedented development over the past six years.

Analysts suggest that this infrastructure boom has not only improved living standards but also positioned Adamawa as a potential economic hub in Nigeria’s northeast.
Governor Fintiri’s administration has remained steadfast in its commitment to transformative governance, with Nyampa’s assessment reinforcing the long-term vision behind these efforts.
“Even if he stopped working today, the ripple effects of his investments would carry Adamawa forward for decades,” Nyampa concluded.

As Nigeria grapples with economic challenges, the Adamawa model under Governor Fintiri stands out as a beacon of hope, proving that strategic investment and visionary leadership can yield extraordinary results. With the people’s support and a contented governor at the helm, Adamawa’s future looks brighter than ever.
