As a result, distribution companies have alerted customers about the situation, with Kaduna Electric confirming that Kaduna, Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi states are affected. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has not released a statement on the cause of the collapse, but experts suggest it may be due to inadequate infrastructure, gas supply problems, and transmission system constraints.
