The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), in Adamawa, Thursday, trained 50 artisans on capacity building for a successful apprenticeship.
The who were participants were posted for three months attachment effect from January 10th to April 10th, 2022 to become experts in their field.
Mr. Nuhu Fikpo, NDE Director-General during the one-day training in Yola urged the participants to take the training seriously toward achieving its desired objectives.
Fikpo who was represented by Malam Ibrahim Faisal, NDE State Coordinator in Adamawa urged the participants to work hard and cooperate with their master trainers for them to succeed.
According to him, this will enable the participants to become experts in their professions and become came employers of labor shortly.
Fikpo further explained that the participants were to upgrade their skills in Aluminum fabrication, panel beating, auto mechanic, carpentering, interior decorations building,g, and plumbing.
Some of the participants commended Federal Government for considering them and assured to be committed and to achieving the objectives of the Programme.
Mss Janet Yohana, a graduate of Biochemistry, Modibbo Adama University, Yola who specializes in interior decorations expressed happiness and readiness to become an expert in the field.
