A wave of enthusiasm swept through Adamawa’s Southern Senatorial Zone on Sunday as the Concerned APC Youths of Numan Federation publicly endorsed Abdulrahaman Bashir Haské as their preferred candidate for the 2027 Adamawa governorship race. At a vibrant press conference held in Numan, the group passionately called on Haské to contest, declaring him the beacon of a “New Adamawa.”
Comrade Reuben Löködi, Chairman of the group, addressed journalists with conviction, stating, “A new Adamawa begins with A.B. Haské.” He revealed that after extensive consultations, the APC youths from Numan, Lamurde, Demsa, Guyuk, and Shelleng have united behind Haské, joining his growing movement across Adamawa’s 21 Local Government Areas.
“As future leaders, we believe the future of Adamawa is A.B. Haské,” Löködi emphasized, urging both young and old to join their mission to “salvage Adamawa in 2027.”
Haské’s appeal, according to the group, lies in his vision and proven commitment to grassroots development, youth and women empowerment, economic growth, and financial stability.
His ambitious 5-point agenda—centered on job creation, youth and women empowerment, agricultural development, educational reform, and healthcare delivery—was highlighted as a transformative blueprint for a state that works for all, transcending gender, tribal, and religious divides.
The youths also expressed gratitude to APC National Leader and National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his role in unifying the party in Adamawa. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda in 2027.
“May APC always succeed,” Löködi concluded, signing off as Chief Director of the APC Media and Awareness Team, Numan Federation. With Haské’s momentum building, the 2027 governorship race promises to be a defining moment for Adamawa’s future.
