The Federal Government has profile a data validation of eight thousand five and sixty three food vendors to prepare food for 2018 primary schools pupils in Taraba under the National Home Grown Schools Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) .

The state Secretary of the programme, Alhaji Idris Goje who confirmed the data validation of beneficiaries while speaking to journalists in Jalingo, said the program was targeted to feed two hundred and ten pupils across the state.

Goje asserted that, the Federal government had sent eight thousand five hundred and sixty three validated names for the programme in the state, noting that the data stipulated that nine hundred and fifty five vendors have issues of BVN and account numbers mismatched.

While assuring that all the affected names have already been submitted to the bank for corrections, Goje appealed to the affected persons that they would not be beneficiaries from the first payment until their problems are corrected.

According to him, 7,608 beneficiaries are expected to receive payments before Friday to start cooking for the pupils, adding that the cooking exercise will commence in January as schools will be going on Holidays this month.

Alahji Idris Goje, noted that they have trained all the food vendors across the 16 local government areas of Taraba state on Covid-19 protocols as required by the federal government before payment.

Commenting on the fraud stars, Goje urged the general public especially women to shun anyone who demands money to issue them an appointment letters, noting that the program is free as initiated by the federal government.
