The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 35 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.
According to a tweet via its verified Twitter handle Thursday evening, 19 cases were reported in Lagos, 5 were reported in Kano, 2 in Oyo and 9 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

It said there are now 452 confirmed cases in the country. 152 cases have been discharged while 13 deaths have been recorded.
“Thirty-five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 19 in Lagos; 9 in FCT; 5 in Kano; 2 in Oyo,” the NCDC tweeted.
“As at 10:20 pm 16th April there are 442 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 152 have been discharged with 13 deaths.”
