In a significant step toward advancing human capacity development under the Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the third batch of participants from the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty alleviation, Hon Delu Yakubu said the beneficiaries has been airlifted to China via Hong Kong.
This initiative, part of an ongoing bilateral exchange program with the People’s Republic of China, underscores Nigeria’s commitment to equipping its citizens with critical skills to drive economic and social progress.
The 14 carefully selected Nigerians, drawn from diverse regions of the country, will undergo specialized training over three weeks, two weeks, and one month, tailored to their respective programs.

Four participants will focus on poverty reduction strategies, while nine willal receive advanced agricultural training, aligning with President Tinubu’s policy priorities of economic empowerment and food security.
The seminar aims to bolster the beneficiaries’ expertise, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development agenda.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon Delu emphasized the importance of the program in fostering sustainable growth and national pride.
“We trust that these participants will represent Nigeria with integrity and honor, bringing back knowledge that will uplift communities across the nation,” the spokesperson said.
