Credit to Engr Njidda
A Senior Executive course (SEC) of the National Institute for Policy and Strategy Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos Engr Sai’du Njidda,mni got commendations for renovating the outward-looking fencing of Tiddo yo Daddo, otherwise known as General Murtala Muhammed college (GMMC) Yola.
Sai’du who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Equipment Leasing Registration Authority (ELRA) is known for his passion for the reviving of education sector in the country.
He changed the outlook of the legendary secondary school that produced the who and who in North East Nigeria, especially prominent Nigerians from Adamawa and Taraba States in a significant way recently.
Centenary Local Organizing Committee Chairman (LOC), Alhaji Saad Abubakar Gambe gave high commendations to Sai’du Njidda as one of the active old Boys of the secondary school that remains a nucleus of greatness and excellence.
Gambe gave the accolades of praise to Sai’du Njidda for his steady commitment and continuous support to GMMC, his Almamata secondary school which has done quite a lot in intervening in many lacking areas.
He said the recent beautifying of the school with the Delux painting by Njidda has uplifted the standard of the school which was delipidated with nearly to no rescue of the school that has good records and produced Generals, Governors, Vice Presidents, many professors, and Doctors across the country.
Gambe said they remain grateful to Njidda for making the glory of GMMC returned in the area of its physical infrastructures as the wall and the entire frontage are wearing a New look.
He revealed how Engr Njidda in the walls made additional artistic beauty between the Parameters of the fence with engraving Logo of the School.
Gambe recalled also a landmarking donation of Engr Sai’du Njidda in honor of the institution where he undertook the construction of a Water cooker center with all facilities and equally built a Shopping structure to enhance the physical looks of the school environment and make life easy for the students.
Gambe made a passionate call to all privileged GMMC Alumni across the country to emulate the exemplary life of Engr Njidda, Sahabo Bawuro owner of Green City Hotels, and Umaru Aliyu Former Chairman of Keystone Bank who has been a source of support to the school.
While thanking Sai’du, Gambe expressed uttermost assurance that if others follow suit, GMMC will certainly return back to its former glory during the Northern premier days, Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardaunan and Tafawa Balewa, and the Gongola days.
