Organised Labour has described their Wednesday’s discussion regarding petrol subsidy removal palliatives with President Bola Tinubu as “fruitful and productive”.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero, while speaking with State House correspondents after a meeting with the President at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, said the meeting thoroughly examined the proposed measures as the concerns that sparked the protests persist.
But Ajaero did not provide any assurance regarding the cancellation or continuation of the nationwide protests against the economic difficulties resulting from the removal of petrol subsidy.
