The newly elected Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PDP Adamawa State chapter, Dr. Dictor Dogo, stated that their party is unaware of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a significant entity and does not consider the All Progressives Congress (APC) a threat in the upcoming election.
Under the leadership of Hamza Madagali, Dr. Dogo said the PDP is determined to win the upcoming election with new strategies, plans, and an agenda to continue Governor Fintiri’s vision for the people of Adamawa State.
During a press conference held earlier today, the PDP PRO, Dr. Dictor Dogo, expressed confidence that anyone leaving the party does so for personal reasons and will eventually return. He emphasized that the PDP will remain the leading opposition party in the state.
“Every political party sees itself as the one to lead. The PDP also sees itself as a central force. We have the highest number of governors and senators in the National Assembly. The opposition works for their personal interests, not national ones, but the PDP is focused on what unites us as Nigerians,” he said.
Citing former President Obasanjo’s 1999 election as an example, Dr. Dogo noted, “Nigerians came together as one to make unified decisions. Despite past divisions, Nigerians, through the PDP, brought Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa together to select a unified candidate.”
He stated that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration follows the same approach, aiming to unite Nigerians under one voice. Dr. Dogo urged Nigerians to stand up, speak for themselves, and take immediate action against anything that could harm their future. “Nigeria and Adamawa belong to you and me. If you see something going wrong, don’t let it pass,” he said.
The PRO also reminded Nigerians that it is time to save the nation from a rigid system and advocate for themselves.
