Senate President Godswill Akpabio has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will stand as the sole presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

Akpabio, speaking at a press conference in Abuja, announced that all major political parties in Nigeria have collapsed their structures to unanimously back Tinubu’s re-election bid, effectively eliminating any opposition.
