In a shocking turn of events, notorious bandit leader Kachallah Bugaje, now known as Zakiru Bugaje, has publicly renounced his life of crime and pledged to abandon banditry along with 50 of his fighters.


In a heartfelt video circulating on social media, Bugaje expressed deep remorse for his past actions, denouncing kidnapping and theft, and declaring his decision to start anew. He revealed that he and his group had previously abducted over 50 people, demanding ransoms as high as 10 million naira, but later released them without collecting a penny, citing the fear of God as their motivation.
