NSA Ribadu Praises Madayi Couple as “Trustworthy Ambassadors” of Numan Federation

Nigeria’s National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has hailed Hon. Zachary Madayi and his wife, Chief Mrs. Bema Olvadi Madayi, as exemplary and trustworthy ambassadors of the Numan Federation, commending their unwavering character, loyalty, and dedication to public service.

Represented by his son, Mahmud Nuhu Ribadu, at a vibrant civic reception in Numan on Saturday, the NSA highlighted the couple’s embodiment of the core values—resilience, valour, candour, and loyalty—that have defined the Numan Federation for generations.

Mahmud Ribadu recounted how the Madayis stood solidly by his father during difficult times, demonstrating remarkable courage, steadfastness, and support that have earned them enduring gratitude.

He described their recent honours and appointments under the Tinubu-led APC administration as merely the beginning, expressing strong confidence that their outstanding qualities would unlock even greater opportunities and blessings ahead.

The grand event celebrated the couple’s fresh roles: Hon. Zachary Madayi as Renewed Hope Ambassador (Adamawa State chapter) and Chief Mrs. Bema Olvadi Madayi as Federal Commissioner in the Federal Character Commission, both facilitated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Elder statesman and occasion chairman, Chief Joel Madaki, thanked President Tinubu and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for prioritizing inclusive federal appointments in the area—contrasting this with perceived neglect under the PDP’s previous 16-year rule.

He noted that these developments reflect the APC government’s commitment to fairness, earning deep goodwill from the Numan people, who are ready to reciprocate.

Chief Madaki praised the celebrants for uplifting the federation through hard work, integrity, loyalty, patriotism, and exemplary leadership, urging them to maintain these high standards.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, congratulated the couple, calling their appointments meaningful dividends of democracy for Numan Federation residents. He expressed delight at Adamawa indigenes securing federal positions across party lines.

In their response, Hon. Zachary Madayi and Chief Mrs. Bema Olvadi Madayi expressed profound gratitude to President Tinubu and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for the trust placed in them. They pledged to serve with diligence, uphold the highest standards, and serve as worthy ambassadors of the APC-led government.
