The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Adamawa State Council has felicitated with Muslim faithful in the state, wishing them a blessed and rewarding Ramadan fast.

In a statement signed by the Secretary, Fidelis Jockthan, the council reminded members and the entire Muslim Ummah that supplications during Ramadan hold immense spiritual benefits.
The leadership of the NUJ wished the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, members of the union, and the entire Muslim community a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.
RAMADAN MUBARAK
The statement noted that during Ramadan, Muslims are expected to observe a strict fast from dawn to sunset, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), aimed at instilling spiritual discipline and strengthening their bond with Almighty Allah.
The council expressed gratitude for the relative peace and unprecedented developments experienced in Adamawa State under Governor Fintiri’s administration.
As Muslims converge in mosques and spend hours praying and reciting the Quran, the union prayed for Almighty Allah to grant them good tidings and accept their supplications.
The statement concluded with the traditional Ramadan greeting: “RAMADAN MUBARAK!”
