Chairman of the Adamawa State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan appreciated the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Barrister Boss Gidahyel Mustapha for the provision of an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center situated at the Press Club.
The thank you visit by Dedan who led a delegation of other officials of the union and thanked Boss for Donating 21st Century State-of-the-art ICT Center.
The visit to Boss’ House in Yola Dedan described it an honor they got to thank him for not only making a provision for the ICT Center for the entire Adamawa journalists but gave them Digital Media Facilities/Gadgets Alongside a One Year Internet Subscription.
The SGF warmly received them and told them that for effective media practice journalists need to move with the trend of life and technology hence the reason for making the effort to provide them with the ICT center.
According to Boss effective Media Service Delivery to the State and Country based on Global Best Practices can only be achieved by the use of ICT and journalists must also be compliant as they carry out their work, research, and professional practice.
