A Lagos Magistrate Court has acquitted Nigerian singer Abdulazeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and his associates, Samson Balogun (Sam Larry) and Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), of any involvement in the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad).

Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje, citing legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) in Lagos, stated that Naira Marley and the others had no case to answer. Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde, was also cleared of any wrongdoing.
Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, and Ayobami Sadiq, one of Mohbad’s friends, will face prosecution for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Lagos State Criminal Law
