Nyampa: Adamawa HoR lawmaker gets USA Mayor-President Honorary award

The House of Representatives (HoR) lawmaker representing Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, Mr. Zakaria Dauda Nyampa has been recognized with the Honorary Mayo-President award.

In a letter endorsed by Sharon Weston Broome, Mayo-President in the City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge, Louisiana State of America said Dauda is to carefully and diligently discharge the duties of said office by performing all manners of things thereunto.

In the same vein, the application of a traditional title of Dallaje Adamawa was granted to Honourable Dauda by the Lamido, His Royal Highness, Dr. Barkindo Muhammad Mustapha with effect from 5th August 2023.

Also, the District head of Michika under the Mubi Emirate has been given the traditional title of Malikin Michika to Dauda

The Santurakin Mubi, Mohammed Maude who is the district head of Michika signed a letter of the title conferment to Dauda with the hope that the coronation will be coming at a later date.
