The Online Publishers Association of Nigeria, OPAN, has launched a ‘Free Press Defence Fund” to help not only Timothy Elombah but any other incarcerated online journalist.
OPAN has already launched multiple suits against IGP Idris in Nnewi, Abuja and Lagos in the Police vs Elombah Brothers matter.
This is a battle for Nigerian jouralists in defence of the freedom of information and the press.
The association calls on anyone interested and well meaning Nigerians to contribute in the fight to of injustice.
