Our consultation is to avoid chances of not fielding a candidate-Adamawa APC replies Sen Barata

Adamawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has replied Senator Ahmed Hassan Barata who said the Party leadership went on consultation and conspiracy of working against the candidate of the party, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani who 14th October Court verdict annulled her candidacy.

The Party’s publicity scribe, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi in a statement made available to our medium said neither Mallam Nuhu Ribadu nor Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani was consulted over their visit to some critical stakeholders in Abuja.

Abdullahi opined that the party remains the number one victim of the Federal High Court Judgement passed by Justice M.A. Anka on the 14th October, 2022 in Yola

He said the leadership represents the Party and want to ensure that the Party gets the nod of the Court of Appeal to field a governorship candidate in the 2023 election.

“Neither Mallam Nuhu Ribadu nor Sen. Aishatu Binani was consulted because there grounds of Appeal may differ. The leadership of the Party in it’s own right of Appeal decided not to take chances and embarked on a high powered consultation to ensure that the party gets the opportunity to field a governorship candidate.” Abdullahi said

He said Barata who had fumed that Binani is the magic game player whose political might if neglected by the party will consume APC from winning a single election it is his own view not the voice of Adamawa electorates.

“While the leadership respects the right of the author of this article to express his opinion and sale his aspirant, if he truly believe that POWER comes from GOD as stated, then the entire write-up is uncalled for because GOD can’t be questioned.

“As a party that is adversely affected by the court Judgement we are supposed to focus more on Prayers for a positive outcome than apportioning blames at this critical moment.”
