The All Progressives Congress (APC) Excos from Adamawa southern senatorial district endorsed Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow’s political ambition of 2019 Agenda.
Bindow who met with the nine Local delegates in Demsa LGA lodge in an effort to canvas their votes for him to become the party’s flag bearer.

He pleaded with them that it is only their votes will make him consolidate the ongoing progressives achievements recording under his leadership.
He revealed that his problem with most of the elites in the is ideology of working and discarding the formula of sharing the little resources of the State.
A staunçh delegates,Alhaji Munsur Toungo and Chief Medan Teneke,among others who has been arrow head s stakeholders of the Party and indigenes of the zone assured Bindow of their total support because of his sterling performances.
Bindow while soliciting for votes from delegates, explained that some of the projects that are yet to commence due to insecurity include earth Dam in Nasarawo, road in Lamurde while Tola and Toungo are to have road construction commenced before election.
He enumerated other projects ongoing in the southern zone to include Numan general hospital which is ninety percent completion as well as Vinanova College pointing out that the projects are aimed at improving the plight of the common man.
He appealed for peace saying that farmer herder killing sholud give way for peace, which is a veritable tool for development of any society.
He called on the delegates to give him their votes during Saturday governorship primaries, urged that the constitution gives him the right to a eight year tenure of four years each and called on the delegates to also give their rousing support to the president, who is passionate about peace and security in the north east.
Deputy Governor Martins Babale, who spoke in his capacity as leader of the party in the southern zone, explained that the zone determine a candidate owing to nine local government that made up the zone.
He said that three thousand delegates will vote during the primary election and assured that they people have the moral obligation to deliver the governor during the primary election.
Deputy Chairman of All Progressive Congress, Mr. Samaila Tadawus told the governor that he has done enough for the people and expressed optimism that the remaining three local government areas in the zone will also feel the divident of democracy.
