Over 500 APC Supporters Meet, Discuss 2023 Political Ambition Of Sen Bindow

All progressive congress loyalists in Adamawa have met and discussed readiness and unwavering support for the party.

The over five hundred supporters to include former Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow’s aides, commissioners, and those who believe in his political line of thoughts have reiterated their passion to support him again if he wishes to vie for any political position.

The group who are like minds sharing good thoughts of the immediate past governor took tunes one after another to describe the former Governor as the best that ever happened to Adamawa state.

Sharing his thoughts on the present administration, Honourable Julius Kadala, a former commissioner of Education during Bindow’s administration said if APC will take a wise decision, Bindow is the best for the party to easily gain ground to defeat the incumbent PDP government in the state.

He described rumors of Bindow’s defection to PDP as the only weapon of lies the opposition people are using to get attention from people who do not know who Bindow is and what the party stands for.

“Let me make this fact known to the world that our principal has never contemplated leaving APC for PDP, he is an APC die-hard man is even among a strategic group at the National level working for the success of APC forming the next government in 2023 after President Muhammadu Buhari,” Kadala said

He refuted the baseless rumors to be an opium PDP rest of mind because they know that his dream of contesting again will be their night of a defeated government.

In his submission, the former commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Mahmud Sali underrated the performance of PDP government, he said putting together the so-called flyover is not up to what Bindow did in his one year in office.

He encouraged the cheering supporters to remain calm in APC as the party that will still meet the needs of Adamawa people in the sooner possible time with Bindow in the party.

The meeting which was intended to rob minds and consult widely among party stakeholders for Bindow’s return again as a Governor of Adamawa state come 2023.

Others who spoke in the area of party unity and cohesion said that the best unity and wise decision the party should take is to sit down at a round table to get a consensus candidate that will be credible enough for all party members to support.

Isah Barima, another former commissioner during Bindow’s government called on APC at both state and national levels to consider Bindow as a winning candidate if he can be supported as a consensus candidate.

According to him, the party should look at issues based on a party to bring out a candidate, not in his personality alone but someone who will be used as a sure candidate of Victory come 2023.

“For me, it’s only Bindow that has all that it takes to win the election, I’m calling on our stakeholders, supporters, and any other aspirants to unite for this purpose in the interest of our party,” Isah said
