The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has stepped in to broker a truce, instructing feuding members to revert to the status quo. This directive, given by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, comes after a meeting of governors that wrapped up early Tuesday morning.
According to Mohammed, the PDP is no stranger to internal disputes, but these challenges can always be resolved through dialogue. As part of the agreement, all suspensions have been nullified, meaning the PDP’s National Working Committee will restore suspended officers, and the acting national chairman, Umar Damagum, will remain in his position.
