PDP Intensifies Grassroots Campaign in Toungo, Ganye, Jada Ahead of June 13 LG Polls

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday ramped up its mobilization efforts across Toungo, Ganye, and Jada Local Government Areas, demonstrating strong party cohesion and grassroots support as the June 13 Local Government Council Elections draw near.

In Toungo, the PDP Caretaker Committee Chairman, Engr. Belmont Dogo, formally presented the party flag to the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Hauwa Ahmadu Guruja, charging voters to rally behind all PDP candidates for a decisive victory.

Addressing a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters, Chief Maurice Vunobolki lauded the impressive turnout and described Hon. Guruja as a capable and dynamic leader. He affectionately nicknamed her the “Woman General,” urging residents to turn out en masse on election day to deliver victory for the PDP.

The campaign train then proceeded to Ganye, where the delegation paid a royal homage to the Gangwari Ganye, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Umaru Adamu Sanda II (OON). The revered monarch offered prayers for the success of the PDP campaign and the overall peace of the area.

At the subsequent rally in Ganye, Chief Vunobolki commended the unwavering enthusiasm of party faithful and called on voters to elect the PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon. Daniel Kamsobbi Purem, along with all councillorship candidates. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the empowerment of women and youth, positioning the PDP as a vehicle for inclusive development.

The final stop in Jada saw Engr. Belmont Dogo present the party flag to the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ismail Njidda. Chief Vunobolki expressed gratitude to supporters for their steadfast loyalty and appealed for overwhelming votes for all PDP candidates on June 13.

The coordinated campaign across the three local government areas underscores the PDP’s determination to consolidate its strongholds and deliver good governance at the grassroots level. Party leaders expressed confidence in a resounding victory, citing the visible support and unity displayed during the day’s engagements.
