An All Progressives Congress, APC, die-hard and staunch supporter of Adamawa’s immediate past Governor, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow accused the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) loyalists as the architect who concocted the blatant rumor that the former Governor has been disqualified from gubernatorial race in the state.

Honorable Nurudeen Kama opined that PDP’s supporters are always terribly terrified whenever the name of Bindow is mentioned and as such, they fashioned out ways to suit their hopeless situation of the quinine of failure in 2023 with rumors.

Kama gave a statement to TGNWS is read drawing the attention of the general public to ignore the concocted rumors and described it a falsehood and misrepresentation of facts from the handles of PDP’s foot soldiers.

He said Bindow is much in the race, spreading their falsehood lies against the former Governor is more of hopeless cracking bottles and toast to a wild celebration anticipating a weaker candidate to face Fintiri in 2023.

According to Kama the option A, B, and C of the PDP people is to go about concocting lies that Bindow as the most acceptable APC aspirant was disqualified by the screening committee.

He said that the fact remains sacrosanct that the 6 Aspirants from Adamawa State are cleared by the screening committee.

“It started from a trending picture of only 1 page out of the lists of about 200 APC Aspirants that subjected themselves to the screening committee which contained the name of 1 out of the 6 Aspirants from Adamawa State.

“This controversial page was snapped and purportedly sent to a Senator from Taraba State but ended up on social media hence the genesis of propaganda and falsehood.

“Therefore, the public should disregard any unofficial position of the party leadership as we await the full list of all the Aspirants that participated in the APC screening that was held in Abuja recently.

“No gimmicks, no propaganda Bindow is winning the Primaries in sha Allah, and he will face Fintiri in 2023.” The Kama said

Kama further said that even in politics as an institution, Bindow leads the other APC Aspirants by far because he has been a Senator of which he was able to learn the art of cohesion, co-option, and lobbying, and interdisciplinary between the Executive and the Legislative Arms of the Government.

The former aide to Senator Jibrilla revealed that he managed well in his first term in office to have a rancor-free relationship between the state House of Assembly and his Exalted Office, an experience he has more than other aspirants.

“Secondly, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Muhammadu was also a Governor and despite being the architect of modern Adamawa State, he has seen things from the purview of an Executive Governor and after office, he has seen where he ought to have done more but did less, he was also able to learn from his failures while he had the opportunity to garner more experience on how to tackle those things we felt he could have done more.

“Out of the 6 Aspirants that are eyeing Gubernatorial Ticket in APC, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed is closely following Bindow in ranking because she has been a Member of the House of Representatives before becoming the best Senator Adamawa has ever had. The next in line to Distinguished Senator Binani is Hon. Abdulrazaq Namdas who is two terms Member House of Representatives and has Chaired 2 influential committees while Pharmacist Wafari Theman is the 4th in terms of political ranking amongst the 6 Aspirants because he has been a member of the State Assembly and has been the secretary of Adamawa state APC, the remaining were either Aspirants or candidates.

“What else do delegates needs to know about who should be the viable and results-oriented candidate of APC?” He said

Kama, therefore, added his voice to the National Vice Chairman of APC from North East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu who has since said no one is disqualified among the six of them and the party is stable and set to go into primaries this week
