In an effort to unite and coerce the people of Adamawa State to embrace peace as a vital tool for development, unity and progress,Team Bindow association while in a “Peace Initiative” tour visits to the People of Jada,Ganye and Toungo LGAs to take peace as a weapon of massive developments.
The group under the chairmanship of Abdulmumuni Song who championed the tour that last for two days said “there can never be anything outside of peace that is better than peace”,peaceful coexistence and unity are two twins that are inseparable.
While in Gangwari Ganye Palace, Alhaji Umaru Sanda,he reminded the people of the area that nothing is second to peace for nation building and no government can succeed without peace among their followers.
In his response,Gangwari Ganye Commended the group in embarking on the godly mission and encourage them to tour the entire state preaching the gospel of peace.
“Thank you for coming to my Palace with this message, it rekindles my hope Adamawa will be one Free from all forms of clashes or extremist.
“Our Governor is trying in revamping the state’s economy and as such he needs an atmosphere of peace and tranquility to do that very well, consider me as one of the stakeholders peace For nation building for the purpose of unity In our state. “Sanda Said
According to Song the visits becomes a necessity in order to built up love and unity again over the recent clashes of Herdsmen and farmers in the senatorial zone of the state.
“World over Adamawa state is known for peace, our peaceful coexistence despite our multi dialectal nature was none like our state, but because of sheer interest of some people the story is changing.
“Sir, we are here to beg of you to call your subjects to work in the order of peace and unity without which there cannot be meaningful development. ” He calls
The Association is working in tendons of the policies of the Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow in changing the narratives of Adamawa State by preaching the developmental strides of the Governor.
The group is also to Canvass support from all people in the state for the Governor to succeed in his administration which they believe is trying his best to bring rapid development.
