The Former boss of the Nigerian Health insurance scheme (NHIS) Prof. Usman Yusuf recently in a show he had with the Channel’s Television aired his view about the fast approaching presidential elections and the presidential candidates.
While speaking during the show, he said that in the beginning, northerners are not the type of people anyone can tell to do this or vote this, and they would do that, adding that even If President Muhammadu Buhari raises the hand of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Kastina state during their campaign rally that they still won’t vote for him, stating that people are already fed up and tired.
Speaking further, he also said that the ruling administration hired a crowd from Kano state down to Kastina state for their rally in the state. Adding that they saw the buses that were used in conveying the crowd to the state.
He said that people should not believe the optics of these politicians, that the reality is on the ground.
