PERPETRATORS OF THE KILLINGS IN BIRANI MUST BE BROUGH TO JUSTICE-GOV BINDOW

Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammady Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has decsribed the killings of about 42 people at Birani, Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, by suspected armed bandits, as unfortunate, barbaric, cowardly and highly condenmable.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi, the Governor said, “The spate of killings of humans by humans, in many parts of the country, is strange and alien to our culture and tradition, it is also against our two major religions”.

Bindow emphasised that, “the change in narratives from mutual cohabitation to destruction of lives and property is rather astonishing”.

He expressed confidence that perpetrators of the dastardly act will be brought to justice.

While condoling with the families, government and people of Zamfara State over the killings, Sen Jibrilla Bindow prays Allah to grant the souls of those who lost their lives Aljanna Firdausi.

In another message Governor Sen Mohammed condoles with families of the students and teachers of Command Junior Secondary School Misau, who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident while returning from an excursion in Kano.

In a statement singed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi, Sen Jibrilla Bindow says, “The news of the unfortunate incident came to me with a rude shock because it is terrifying to lose younger once and the promising generation of any society. I share your pain”.

He also sends his condolences to the Emir of Misau as well as Government and people of Bauchi State, praying Almighy God to give them the strength to cushion their pains.
