In a vibrant ceremony steeped in tradition, Dr. Steven John, PhD, Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the Adamawa State Ministry of Health, was bestowed the prestigious Sadaukin Nkafa District traditional title by the District Head of Nkafa, Alhaji Mohammed Dahiru.

The honor recognizes Dr. John’s remarkable contributions to healthcare and his unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged across Adamawa State and beyond.

Leading a high-powered delegation, Turakin Gaya, Alhaji Haruna Hamidu, accompanied Dr. John to Michika, where they expressed profound gratitude to Alhaji Dahiru for the esteemed recognition.
The event, attended by community leaders and dignitaries, celebrated Dr. John’s transformative impact as a renowned health expert and philanthropist.
Dr. John, a globally respected figure in health and disease control, holds a PhD in the field and serves as one of only two African representatives on the governing board of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases.
His extensive travels as a resource person have amplified his influence, earning him accolades for his expertise and compassion.
