A Pilgrim who is the head of the delegation of Cross River State 2023 Pilgrimage, High Chief Higgins Peters praised Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) for organizing a well well-packaged pilgrimage
He was impressed by the way and manner the operation went successful without records of abscondment from all the Nigerian states who have visited the holy lands of Israel and Jordan.
Higgins who is an All Progressives Congress Chieftain in Cross River commended the NCPC Executive Secretary, Rev Dr. Yakubu Pam to have labored Well to make sure the journey went peacefully and successfully.
According to him, he was So impressed by the handling operations of the ground handlers who gave them a memorial trip and spiritual reawaken while in Jordan and Israel.
With what he saw in the countries of Jordan and Israel, he said they are having unprecedented developments because they have unity of purpose and focused to liberate themselves from the shackles of poverty caused by underdevelopment.
Mr. Higgins said it’s never too late for Nigeria to get it right to the threshold of development considering the massive human and mineral resources deposited in all states of the country.
“I must confess, I have seen a barren land that ordinary nothing will come out of it, but thanks to the good leadership of Israel and Jordan they turned into t a world haven that attracts millions of people. For tourism.
“With their thoughtful and focused leadership, they can get it right, Nigeria will also get there. It is just a matter of hard work and good leadership” Higgins said
