Police arrest Chairman Miyetti Allah cattle breeders for extorting N2.4M

As CP Orders Commencement of Investigation

Following the recent act of extortion by State Chairman Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Jaoji Isa who extorted a member of the public of the sum of Two Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira (N2,400,000), which was brought to the notice of the Command via Social media Platform, the Adamawa State
Police Command wishes to reveal and announce that investigation was conducted leading to the arrest of the Person responsible for this conduct.

The Commissioner of Police *CP Dankombo Morris Psc(+),* as part of his commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability, has ordered the commencement of investigation to ensure that this ugly trend of Extortions of innocent people never repeats itself.

The CP also emphasized the imperativeness that those found to have violated the trust placed in them by the public face the full consequences of their actions, as such behavior not only tarnishes the reputation of the force but also undermines the collective efforts to maintain law and order in the state.

The Command remains resolute in its quest to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

A statement signed by the command’s Public relations officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR says as guardians of public safety and the rule of law, we are deeply committed to ensuring the maintaining public trust and will continue to take decisive action against any Criminal elements.
