Mourns the dead of two security officers

The unruly behavior that ensued a clash between Military officers and Men of the Nigerian Police led to the deaths of two Officers, Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said normalcy has returned to the state.

Governor Fintiri in a Press conference assured the people of the state to go about their normal and lawful duties as peace has returned even among the security agencies.

He said it was a minor misunderstanding that wouldn’t have led to the ugly incident but everything is under control as the sister security agencies agreed to work together to face security threats like kidnappers, Bandits, and Boko Haram insurgents who are the common enemies.

The Governor who held a meeting upon his return from an official visit with security stakeholders told media men in Government House Yola the security agencies have only one common external enemy and they should not be one to themselves.

“We are not supposed to be enemies to ourselves, our common enemies are the Kidnappers, the bandits, and the Boko Haram insurgents in the nooks and crannies of our dear State.

“They should all working in the interest of the nation and Adamawa state, thanks to God they have agreed to work together and conquer our common enemies.

“We have extensively discussed and agreed to work together to face the miscreants who are a threats to our corporate peace and unity,” Fintiri said

While mourning the two officers who lost their lives (a Soldier and a Police) and condemned the unfortunate incident, Fintiri called for unity among the security agencies in the interest of the nation.
