Police nab teenage twin brothers for burgling in Ekiti

Police in Ekiti have confirmed the arrest of twin brothers, Olasoji Kehinde and Olasoji Taiwo, for alleged burglary.

The police said the twins were arrested while attempting to break into a shop at Mathew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-EKITI.

State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu, disclosed this in a statement.

The statement said during interrogation, the suspects confessed to committing the crime, adding that they were responsible for the burgling of three shops at Fayemi Market, Agric Olope, Ado-Ekiti, where they carted away two bags of rice, two bags of beans and other items valued at N936,750.00.

Further investigation by the Command Rapid Response Squad led to the arrest of one Afolayan Funke ‘and Nnaji Benignus Aroh, whom the suspects claimed have been receiving stolen properties from them.
