” The fast moving car hit all of them and the six were all rushed to Federal Medical Center (FMC), Yola. But at the hospital four were confirmed dead.

” The driver was lynched by angry mob who were piqued by his unremorseful attitude, because instead of him to show sympathy for the lives lost, he was busy lamenting the damage inflicted on his car.

” If not for the intervention of men of Operation Farauta, the driver would have been killed by the angry mob,” Mahmud said.

Confirming that one of the students of the university was involved in a fatal accident, the president of AUN, Mergee Ensign through a request by our reporter, expressed deep sympathy to the families of the victims although she did not mention the name of the student.
