Political enemies target Sen Abbo for assassination- Prophet Tudi reveals

Former Senator Ishaku Abbo, popularly known as SIA, has confirmed surviving three assassination attempts, responding to a dire warning from Prophet Tudi Hiko about a looming plot to end his life.

The prophet’s public alert, shared widely on social media, claimed divine revelation of an imminent attack, urging Nigerians to pray for Abbo’s safety as a key figure in God’s plan for Adamawa State.

Prophet Hiko, referencing Amos 3:7, stated, “God does nothing unless He reveals it to His prophets.” He warned, “Months ago, I told you God showed me an assassination attempt against Senator Abbo Ishaku. Now it is very close.”

Hiko described Abbo as anointed to lead Adamawa, asserting that the devil is targeting him to thwart this destiny. He called for fervent prayers to protect Abbo, his family, and his political team, advising the former senator to watch his movements carefully.

In a detailed response, Abbo revealed he is no stranger to such threats. “I have already escaped three assassinations, one involving soldiers in the North East,” he wrote, adding that God saved him each time.

He shared a recent dream from June 5, 2025, in which he was shot in the stomach but survived, a vision he confided to a security aide and one of his wives.

“God has revealed to me that I am targeted,” Abbo stated, expressing steadfast faith. Comparing himself to biblical figures like Moses, David, and Jesus, he declared, “The Lord God that saved me from the hands of assassins three times in just one year will save me from more assassins.”

Abbo, removed from the Senate in October 2023 by the Appeal Court, framed the threats as attempts to derail his divine mission to transform Adamawa. He is working on a 100-page manifesto to industrialize the state through agriculture, manufacturing, solid minerals, and technology, promising trillions in revenue to fund free healthcare, education, security, and infrastructure.

“The days of redemption are near,” he proclaimed, rallying supporters to pray and spread his message.

The exchange has stirred intense debate in Adamawa, with supporters praying fervently and skeptics questioning the claims. Hiko defended his prophecy, stating, “Call me fake, but you can’t deny in 2027 when God confirms this.”

He likened Abbo’s struggles to those of Moses and Jesus, whose destinies provoked fierce opposition. Abbo’s controversial past, including a 2024 video scandal he denied, continues to divide opinion, but his bold vision resonates with many facing economic and security challenges in Adamawa.
