POLL: Women prefer their husbands to have side chick than 2nd wife

A poll conducted online has shown that majority of women preferred their husband to have a concubine than to have a second wife .

The poll, which was conducted on Twitter by a Public Affairs commentator, Hamma Hayatu, came with a question as follows:

“Women if you must make a choice between your husband having a second wife or side chick which one do you prefer?”
The result showed that 63 per cent of 2565 participating respondents prefer their husband to have a side chick than have a second wife .

Some women who spoke to ElombahNews on what may have prompted the choice of side chick over a rival wife cited sense of insecurity amongst other things as the primary reason of the choice.
