Pope Leo XIV’s Historic Visit to Nigeria

In 2016, the now-Pope Leo XIV made a significant visit to Nigeria, strengthening ties between the Vatican and the Nigerian Catholic community. As the Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine, he traveled to Abuja, where he engaged with the Augustinian community and commissioned key projects.
