Poverty is the main course of crisis Adamawa acting Governor tells community leaders

The Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Engr Marthins Babale who has been working on acting capacity to the state said poverty is the main courses of ethnicity crisis in the state and the country at large.

Babale said this when a delegation of Tambo community led by Christopher Jalo paid him a courtesy visit in Government house Yola.

According to Christopher that the visit is in solidarity support of the working Governor and to thank the government under the leadership of Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow who is demonstrating his Government to be for all people in the state.

Jalo who is the spoke Man of the group laments how the government played a lip service to the people of Tambo when suspected Fulani herdsmen over ran the entire community where many were displaced, hundreds of houses got burnt and people deserted the community for fear of another attack.

He called on the government to come to their aids as still to this day some people are struggling to survive and failing to get to their feet as the effects of the attacks is still bashing hard on them

Babale further say that the sole aim of Government is to take care of her people
and debunk that there has not been any help extend to the community as claimed by Jalo. He assured them to look to their request as soon as the Governor returns from his leave.

He enjoin them to live in peace and unity,advice them to caution their children and wards against taken hard drugs but let them be productive and earn a living as any body that is poor should blame himself.

“I’m calling on you to be united so we can collectively conquer the scourge of poverty.” Babale said

Babale also assure the delegation that the leadership of Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow is going to thrash out religion intolerance in Adamawa State.
