Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, has admonished intending pilgrims to Mecca to abide by the laws of the Saudi Authorities, as worthy ambassadors, while in the holy land.
The Governor who was at the Yola International Airport to bid farewell to five hundred and sixty moslem pilgrims from Taraba State said, “pilgrimage to the holy land is a celestial call from Allah as one of the five pillers of Islam. I therefore urge all of you to perform your Hajj according to the tenets and teachings of the Holy Quran”.

The Governor reminded the intending pilgrims of the dare need to pray for Nigeria and her political leaders, esoecialy President Muhammadu Buhari, “so that they can have the wisdom, vision and strenght to steer the country to greater development height”.
He explained to journalists shortly before their departure that, “Taraba and Adamawa States are two sides of the same coin, that is why i am here to encaurage and enlighten them on their expectations at the holy land as well as ensur that their airlift was hitch-free”.
Also Speaking in an interview, Nuhu Danladi, who is the Director of Research and Statistics, Taraba state Moslem Pilgrims Board, appreciated the benovelence of Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla to the Taraba state moslem pilgrims to the holy land.
They finaly departed Yola International Airport on board Max Air, at about five in the evening.
