The story on a viral list of national honours featuring the name of Aisha Yesufu and others, credited to the Leadership newspaper, is fake news. It should be ignored

Temitope Ajayi, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, clarified in a statement on Friday that no fresh honours list has been issued beyond those announced by President Tinubu during his address to the joint sitting of the National Assembly on Thursday.

“The story on a viral list of national honours featuring the name of Aisha Yesufu and others, credited to the Leadership newspaper, is fake news. It should be ignored,” Ajayi stated.

The Presidency urged the public to disregard the misleading report and rely on official communications for accurate information regarding national honours.
