The All Progressives Congress (APC) has given a swift reaction to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri that President Muhammadu Buhari and APC will continue to be his nightmares.
Adamawa APC publicity Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi who replied Governor Ahmadu over the electoral bill declined assent by Buhari, him (Buhari) and APC are the ones destroying the economy of Nigeria.
According to Abdullahi, It appears the Adamawa State Governor is in a state of confusion, surprising to have forgotten that the PDP is responsible for the Economic misfortune of this country.
He said Diezani who is a PDP Chieftain alone stole the fortune of the present generation and the future generations of Nigeria.
PMB inherited an empty treasury with infrastructural decay and many states unable to meet their financial obligations.
The problems were compounded by the sharp drop in the prices of crude oil to almost zero level due to the global effects of COVID-19.
“PMB being an honest and a selfless leader was able to navigate the country out of economic recession within a very short time.
“He went ahead to put in place massive infrastructural development in the country and bailed out states that are unable to meet their financial obligations. Various social intervention programs were also put in place to assist the poor and the vulnerable in our societies and Adamawa State benefited from the same.
“Even just of recent, the Adamawa State Governor was running from pillar to post to access $18Bn special bailout from the Federal Government.
“He can’t score any political point by attacking PMB and the APC. He has become an emperor to his party men and has enough internal problems to contend with.
“All his rantings will never distract us as a Party, as our target remain that of removing the PDP from Dougirei Government House in 2023,” Mohammed said
