President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today visited Kaduna State to commission a series of transformative projects spearheaded by Governor Uba Sani’s administration, underscoring the state’s commitment to infrastructure development, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

The President inaugurated a state-of-the-art 300-bed specialist hospital in Kaduna, designed to enhance healthcare delivery and provide advanced medical services to residents. Speaking at the event, President Tinubu praised Governor Sani for prioritizing citizens’ well-being, noting that the facility would significantly reduce medical tourism and improve access to quality care.

Among the infrastructure projects commissioned were the 24km Kafanchan road and the 22km Kauru-Kubau road, both critical to boosting connectivity, trade, and agricultural productivity in the state. The President highlighted the roads’ potential to unlock economic opportunities in rural areas, aligning with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a move to promote sustainable transportation, President Tinubu also flagged off 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, part of Kaduna State’s initiative to provide eco-friendly and affordable public transport. The buses are expected to ease commuting challenges and reduce carbon emissions.
Additionally, the President commissioned vocational training centres aimed at equipping youths with skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship. He described the centres as a “game-changer” for empowering the next generation and curbing unemployment.

Governor Sani, in his remarks, thanked the President for his support and reiterated his administration’s focus on delivering people-oriented projects. He pledged to continue driving inclusive growth across Kaduna State.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by top government officials, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders, marking a significant milestone in Kaduna’s development journey.
