President Tinubu’s Aide Awards Full Scholarship to IDP Student

In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” to positively impact Nigerians’ lives, his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Delu Bulus Yakubu, has awarded a full scholarship to an internally displaced person (IDP) from Adamawa State.

The beneficiary, an exceptional student, will receive the scholarship from secondary school to university, with all necessary support to ensure her success. The scholarship was presented during the 2024 World Humanitarian Day celebrations at the Malkohi IDP camp in Yola, Adamawa State.

Mrs. Delu, who shared her own humble beginnings, encouraged the student to pursue her dreams, assuring her of support throughout her university education.

She commended the student’s focus and determination, despite spending nine years in the IDP camp.

As an advocate for women’s liberation, Mrs. Delu promised to support the student’s academic journey, citing her own experiences with setbacks while growing up in a village.
